I Like Authority Black Book

March 22nd, 2007 · 8 Comments

I must say it takes a lot to impress me these days. Internet Marketing is so full of absolute junk that I am amazed that I bother to stick with it and don’t just go cut grass after work for that little extra money. Well today my faith has been restored ever so slightly. I received via email a pitch for something called Authority Black Book. I’m not sure why I bothered to check it out. Probably because it was free. But whatever the reason, I’m glad I did.

First of all, if you are running blogs you should take the time to download this resource. It’s good people. Real good. There is no overt pitch that I can tell anywhere in the book. Yea, you gotta give up an email addy but then again when don’t you? They do reference their Authority Site Center but the ebook is nothing about that. It’s all about how to use Web 2.0 to your advantage for traffic. It actually tells you specifically what plug-ins to use on your blog. It tells you exactly what system to use and not use. It tells you what social networking sites to utilize and why.

After all the absolute junk I’ve purchased lately I promise I would have had no problem paying a few bucks for this. The resources are solid. Tons of things and sites I never would have thought to use or visit.

You can thank Jack Humphrey for this resource. He’s a quality guy. To pull this ebook together and release it for nada is pretty dang cool. If I had purchased any Web 2.0 ebook in the last 6 months or so, and read Authority Black Book that I got for free, I think I’d be a little ticked off.

I’m a cynical SOB. Not a lot impresses me anymore. Authority Black Book got my attention. Kudos to Mr. Humphrey.

I’m glad you wrote about this Splork…I got an email an just deleted it thinking it was more junk to get me on another list.

I rescued it from the trash and went ahead and got the book. :)

Hey Splork, thanks for the tip. I downloaded and skimmed through it but it does seem like a very good resource as you said.

Keep up the good work. I read your blog daily. It’s right up there with Shoemoney, Wickedfire and Johnchow for me.

Thanks Rayman. I appreciate your support and reading.

Thanks man - it means so much more coming from a guy notoriously as hard to please as you! :)

I feel like I passed a significant test today.

Hey Broc. Yea I think I downloaded an authority site report by them a while back. And you are exactly right. That authority site report was just good enough to be useful but dang close to being spammy. I didn’t feel that way about this report though. Just good info.

Hey Jack. Not that bad am I? Couldn’t be. But I was sure was impressed with your ebook. If only the ones I actually PAID for was as good.

The report is excellent. I am going to work with it for my next affilorama project.

I am already using wordpress, however with the blackbook plan, it is going to pass to the next level.

Awesome. This is work for months to come.
