The Next Internet Millionaire. Is anyone watching this? Me either. I have zero interest. I do give props to Joel Comm though. Bold move into the right direction. Internet video is where it is at.

I’m tired of being yelled at! Email marketers need to stop with the exclamation point after every sentence! I get the point! You want me to buy! Okay!

Did you see the product offering from Jeff Alderson on Silo structuring? It’s called SiloMatic. I read over it and deleted it. I guess it can be a help but I’m just not worrying too much about Silos. For one thing I don’t build many websites anymore. I mostly build blogs. Matt Cutts, the Google engineer, the one that everyone hangs on every word, said recently that Wordpress is very good for SEO right out of the box. That’s good enough for me. If I build a website I use XSitePro. And if I had to guess I bet Paul will be adding siloing to the next major upgrade of XSP, if it is that important. I’m waiting on that.

I found a site while researching an article for my Health and Fitness blog that I think is pretty cool. Called Mahalo.com. ’scuse me very much if you’ve already heard of it. What is Mahalo? Glad you asked.

Mahalo is a human-powered search engine that creates organized, comprehensive, and spam free search results for the most popular search terms. Our search results only include great links.

Not exactly a new idea. Just a more organized one. A prettier one. These result pages are hand-written. “Mahalo’s goal is to hand-write the top 20,000 search terms.” It’s kind of funny that we were essentially doing this 3 years ago with Niche Portal Builder and the like to scrape search engine results. We got our sites banned. Turn around and do the same thing, but put it in a Web 2.0 wrapper and hand write it and you’ve got a happening site making it’s way up the Alexis rankings. At any rate, it’s a fun spin on an old idea.

I just watched the first couple of minutes of episode 4 of NIM. Although I salute the professional format, what the f**k does eating worms have to do with answering less customer service emails?? That is absolutely pathetic and brings the whole IM business into miscredit.
