I’m getting slammed with a ton of emails pushing all manner of products now. The latest and greatest is/was the PPC Classroom. We seem to cycle around with products. It’s time to pimp PPC. 6 months ago the rage was niche site building with articles. Nothing is new it seems.
PPC Classroom was intense. They had all hands firing for that one. I had gurus counting down the hours via email when the thing would close. Then when it did I had gurus emailing me that they had finagled a special back door to let me in because I was such a good customer or friend or subscriber.
There were certainly a ton of bonus offers. The salespage had thousands of dollars of stuff that was added to the offer by all sorts of gurus. Then the people who were emailing had their own bonuses they were throwing on the table. Who needs all this extra stuff? I thought PPC Classroom in and of itself was the answer to making money online.
I didn’t buy the thing, even though it was only priced at $77 $57,239. I heard some things on a few of the boards about all the upsales after making your purchase and difficulty getting refunds and such. I just don’t play anymore. I don’t have any idea if this package is worth the money or not. Couldn’t care less if it is. I don’t care for all this money whoring people do to entice you buy some IM shit.
It’s not just PPC Classroom. Seems like another round of guru pimping has achieved lift-off. Some weeks it’s hard to keep track of who wants you to buy what. Sometimes I feel like there is something out there that might just work so I continue to be interested. Hopeful even. But I snap out of it after reading through page after page of sales garbage. And I really get annoyed after the 5th email telling me how great it is and what bonus I can hope to get for buying and trying to instill the typical IM fear by telling me that time is running out or that there is only two more spots left. It’s always the same. Much like the posts on this blog.
I have yet to find the means to online wealth except for hard work. $77 ebooks and programs just do not hold my interest. Though, I can’t say I am achieving all that much honestly so maybe they should. I continue to write content and get backlinks. I personally have never found that niche that can bring in $100/day in Adsense. If I get the traffic that might command that type of money on a site, I can’t get anybody to click anything.
In my way of thinking I already have all I need to achieve some level of success. Another membership or software or plan isn’t going to make a difference. There’s enough with PLRPro with AMA and the “Big Green Button” to help get me wherever it is I ultimately go. Just yesterday I built another WPDFI script site. Two nights ago I built a Blogger blog, filled it with Ebay widget goodness, wrote a couple of articles and dropped it into AMA. There is plenty to do without spending more time reading some other technique that is no better or worse than the shit I’m currently doing.

I always enjoy your posts because they always sound so familiar to the thoughts in my head….
For the most part, the more they are promoted the more a p.o.s. they probably are…Who promotes something that’s going to make them more money using it than selling it?
I’ve bought a couple of things and have no real regrets because they taught one or two things. I’ve got a one up for you though…
I bought Joel Comm’s “Adsense 4″ for like $10 right…well during the download it crapped out and while waiting i got nozey and started “google” hacking…i found the download page for the pdf…tested it multiple different ways on several different computers just to make sure it wasn’t a cookie type thing….
Thought about how I should handle it and eventually thought you know what…karma and sent an email to him and his support team…what did i get….NOT EVEN A THANK YOU….not only do they shank you…they don’t even give you a kiss!

Splork, unfortunately, AMA don’t permit blogger blogs anymore !!!
When you try to add a blogger blog, they say:
“Publishing AMA articles on the free blog platform that you selected violates the terms of use of that service. Hence, sites on that domain are not allowed in the network.”

Yea, it’s a bummer but probably necessary. It’s too easy to build them. And given that they probably had a ton entered into AMA, the sheer number may have diluted their usefulness.

When I first got into sales in the offline world, I was told, “if it were easy, it wouldn’t pay so well.” I think the same thing goes for Adsense niches. I figure the high CPC is either because there’s lots of competition for existing traffic (which makes earning a click harder in that niche), or because there’s jack for traffic… or both.

I hear what you are saying about all the hype. But I think you are wrong about PPC Classroom. I signed up and have learned a ton. I’m writing about my experience on my blog. Just honest opinions and no sales pitches. Check it out and see what you think yourself. You can also follow me on twitter.
