I haven’t been doing much lately. Pretty pathetic I guess. Like Neil Shearing’s new offering, Passive Cash Flow Secrets says, I’ve just been letting previous work do it’s thing while I do mine. And damn if the funny thing is that my remaining Niche Portal Builder sites continue to bring in Adsense money.
And speaking of PCFS, I haven’t bought it. Probably won’t. But there are quite a few decent folks singing its praise. Anybody want to comment?
And speaking of not buying, I’ve gotten tons of emails for the $20,000 in 20 days promotion. No thanks. Just got my first email for Plug and Play Niche Marketing from the dude who pimped Niche Marketing on Crack too. I won’t be getting that either.
I will say something nice about PLRPro’s new ebook service. I’m not joining but if I had an interest in selling that kind of product I’d certainly go with Daniel and Marc. PLRPro has been awesome. And there is no reason why their new service won’t be kick-ass as well.
You know how guberus say you have to be in tight niches these days to make money? Funny how they say that as they are pimping into a crowded internet market. Like forget it if you jump into something as huge as say, fitness? Well, my health and fitness blog has a whopping PR1. I do very little keyword optimization. Maybe grab a couple from nichebot. I find some news to comment about or a video to post. Time spent: 5-10 minutes tops. Posting maybe twice a week. That blog is now averaging $1/day in Adsense. I know. You’re so jealous. That comes to around $25-30/hour payoff for the month if you consider the time I spend on it. Seriously, don’t hate me because I am rich. And that’s just Adsense. I’ve made a couple product sales using WordPress Affilitate Pro as the engine, which is pretty cool.
For promotion, I’ve done nothing more than submit to a few blog directories and make sure Technorati finds the blog. And I do think those are key. Google, I don’t think, does a thing for me. Certainly not in the main directory. I have much better luck in G’s blog search engine.
At any rate, I guess I need to start paying attention and figure out how best to drive more traffic to it. I’m sure it can be improved upon. No, I’m not making $500/month with the site, yet. But my point is that it seems you can make money even with the toughest of niches. Maybe we shouldn’t be letting these guberus dictate what we should be building sites on just because they want to sell niche products. You know?
I do love going off on a tangent.
DealDotCom. I love the idea. Hell, I wish I’d thought of it. So far the offerings hasn’t done much for me. I hate the presentation. The “story” introducing the product is annoying. Stupid even. But I think it’s worth having a look every day to see if there is something worth buying at a deal.
