$15K Challenge - He’s Got 30 Days

September 30th, 2006 · 5 Comments

Have absolutely no idea how I found this site. That in itself is pretty pathetic I think. Too much surfing around, but screw it. Just got sick of writing and let myself wander about.

Anyway, this dude is having a competition with some of his buds whereby he has to make $15K in 30 days or homes has to wear a nasty pink thong in public. Brilliant. Talk about motivation.

So why should you care? Because he is documenting every step of the way for loddy, doddy and everybody to see if and how he does it. The guy knows his stuff. I’ve no doubt he’ll get there. And I’m telling you, he is schooling you on how to build a list and market. It’s free. No hype involved. A simple sharing of ideas. And now his ideas are mine.

The interesting thing is seeing how he is dealing with spinning this project yet having actual customers who care about the site he is building. The MySpace profiles are all basically fake. The site is built around “Teri” who is a $1 stock photo babe. He shows you where he collected all his content. He tells you what software he uses. It’s quite a lesson.

There is enough substance between The $15K Challenge and Bum Marketing Method to learn how to get our sites making money, and it doesn’t cost us a thing.

I am a member of InfoGoRound. It is a PLR Membership site. But here is the thing. I get it for free each month, and so can you. All you have to do is write one article a month to contribute to the article database and they reimburse your membership fee. I have been reimbursed for each month so far. It is a complete no brainer IMO.

Wow, you actually caught on the the 15k challenge on day 29 - where do you live, on the dark side of the moon?

    Just kidding ;-)

I think the challenge is quite brilliant and although it looks as though he’s not going to make the 15, making 10 or 11 on that schedule and budget is definitely one hell of a job.

And you’re right: there is a ton of info in this to be learned - and eventually put into action. I bet he’ll create some kind of product around the challenge with a “step-by-step” guide that will appeal to the lazy (like me ;-)

Anyway, really like your blog. I find it interesting that you too are taking the affilorama and TMP (Charles Heflin) route - me too :-) I’m adding some Andy Williams wisdom (the “Fat Affiliate” guy) for good measure…

Keep it up and good luck :-)

    Hey Splork,

You’re showing a page rank of 3 on my google toolbar today - congrats!

Hey Tom. I may as well be on the dark side of the moon. I’m a redneck from Alabama who is now living as a hick in Tennessee. Yea I totally caught the ass-end of that contest. But the information was just amazing. I really thought he was going to pull it out, but jeez, $10K would do me right.

Dr. Andy. I’ve got more to say on that later. It will make a good blog post.

    Splork,

Man you let me down yesteray buddy :) I thought you would be all over the Click Flippin’/StompMania GIVE ME YOUR MONEY NOW! frenzy with your usual witty banter and stimulating repartee (sorry for the highbrow lingo but I couldn’t resist given your self-proclaimed “ethnicity”).

Wait, maybe you didn’t know about these great offerings because you unsubscribed from all of the “guburus”. Maybe you should sign back up to some so you will have more fodder for your blog?

    Keep em flying,

    Mike

Been out of town. Three US southwestern cities in three days. Internet spotty. Getting in late. I’ve got a draft I may try to get up later if I get time to work it out, but believe me ain’t no way I’d be playing in that mess.
