Adsense has been incredibly good to me the last month or so. Best in a long time.
Ebay has been equally as good.
I have tried out two tools in the last month for grins and giggles. IMeye and Niche Profit Classroom. I have a curious nature and thought they may be of value in my efforts to make fat stacks of cash. Both are extremely professional. Both are equally useless in my world. I canceled both.
I try out a lot of stuff. Tactics and tools. For fun mostly. It’s a distraction in a hugely boring-ass business. When I decide I want to make money and stop fooling around I do the following: I use Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai to find keywords to build a site on. I use PLR from Affilorama and PLRPro for initial content. I add my own written stuff. I also mix in hardly used (distributed) Ezine Articles that I find using MS. I build the site with XSitePro. Sometimes I monetize using Adsense with a huge block of advertising garbage in the center and above the fold, just as ugly as you please (perhaps not a great idea). Mostly the sites that are more product oriented I use Ebay. If I’m targeting a specific product I use CJ, LinkShare or Shareasale. Sometimes Amazon. I hardly ever use Crapbank. I drive traffic using funnels I build with WordPress and Blogger. I build Squidoo lens and Hubpages more for the revenue opportunity than to drive traffic to “money sites”. I use AMA to distribute links via their blog network. I use MAR to spin articles for use on the traffic funnels, AMA, as well as the article directories found in MAS. I submit articles to Ezine Articles because the backlink is useful and people follow the links. I hardly submit to bookmark sites anymore. Nor do I actively comment to blogs. New sites hardly ever get ranked within 3 months in Google. I hardly ever make money in the first 6 months relying on Google. Thus traffic funnels from social-like sites are useful in the beginning.
I am a member of PLRPro and all they are trying to do. The training is great. The product is great. I am also a long-time member of Affilorama. Equally as useful with good training. I got in on the ground floor of each and pay a pittance to what I get, and have gotten, in return. I love spinning articles with MAR. I like using Answer Analyst to find questions that I can answer on my sites. I make money with Hubpages particularly with Ebay. I make money with Squidoo. It really cannot be any simpler in my little make money online world.

Hey Big Splork,
Like a breath of fresh air…Good to see you have a stretch of positive results from your efforts for a change.
Dear Mr. President,
Glad to hear the weeds are doing so well this year. I was wondering if you could elaborate a bit more about what all goes into building one of your xsites. Specifically I wanted to know more about what you do to “SEO” your xsites. I have only built a few and I want to make sure I am doing everything possible in terms of SEO. Also, I would love to see one of your xsites. Do you have any laying around you wouldn’t mind showing? Have you found any good training for xsite pro?
PLR Advice – link on the right toolbar here is my site. XSP pretty much does everything for you as far as SEO. Just fill in the blanks when you build a webpage. Then do the “Page Analysis”. XSP is simple. You don’t need plugins to make your pages worthwhile. I trust you’ve gone through the “Help” menu provided and watched the tutorial and read the PDFs. That’s really all the XSP specific training I’ve looked at. Internet marketing training I’ve gotten through reading Griz and his acolytes, Affilorama and PLRPro.
Hey Sunshine. I’m a card carrying curmudgeon. A lot grumpy. I write better in the sarcastic tone. I tend to write about the stuff that aggravates me. When I venture further into the weeds that is when I tend to write about that adventure. I always return to base camp. But base camp is boring. The “State of the Weeds” message above is my average work detail at base camp. If I wrote about that every time I’d have maybe 2 or 3 readers instead of 7 or 8.
So you don’t use BMD anymore? I was just about to ask you stuff about your BMD routine – how many sites, where you get your emails, etc.
Nah, not so much.
Do you have hard #s to back this? I do use BMD myself. But always trying to get better.
No hard numbers. Just feel like it is not as productive as it used to be.
