I need something to post about. So instead of wasting a long-winded explanation in the comments I thought I’d write a long-winded explanation and post it up. I often wonder if the shit that I say I do doesn’t make guberus laugh. I mean what I’m doing seems to make sense to me. Maybe other people are thinking “jeez man can you make it any harder?” Dunno. Don’t really care much. This is just what I’m doing. I’ve never said it’s what you should be doing.
Denheiro asks, “I would like to ask you something more, if you can give some insights. When you make a new money site, how much days do you use to build links before you go to build another new money site?”
Answer: I don’t wait on getting links for my next site. Google’s gonna box the thing anyway so I just build another. Or not. Depends on my motivation. There have been some weeks that I have built like 4-5 blogs. That’s a lot I think working the daily grind. Other weeks I build nothing.
I haven’t built any article niche sites this month. But I’ve got 5 new StoreStacker sites and 25 BANS sites up. I’ve got 2 lens and 12 hubpages built this month. I built 10 Blogger blogs and 3 Wordpress blogs for promotion. I just keep building something. All of these are so much easier to build than article niche sites, it’s not even close.
My goal? I want 100 BANS/StoreStacker sites (I may have to throw in WPDFI sites into this number too). I want 100 Hubpages. I want 100 Lens. I may not (be able to) build another article site all year. I may not want to. The potential that I see with BANS/SS/WPDFI is enough to make me want to concentrate on affiliate products. I’ll rewrite a couple of pages to use for content within those sites, you know, to avoid the scary duplication of content penalties.
Promoting all that? BMD. Web 2.0. Probably an article and a few directory submissions. Mostly just targeting keywords that no one else wants to bother with. At some point I’ll be able to link from all these blogs, lens and hubpages. I’m going to wait until they season a bit more I think. I don’t know why, but I just am.

Hey Splork,
Last year when I first learned about Squidoo, I said to myself that I was going to build 100 Lenses. I also purchased BANS back in February and had the same thought. However, to date I’ve built only around 27 Lenses, and a total of ZERO BANS sites. Your post above reminds me that I really need to get off my lazy butt and get things done! BANS is pretty pricey so I at least need to try and re-coup the cost.

That 99 cent dot info sale @ godaddy helped me kick it in gear to get another 100 BANS sites up and going. Sure, they all need a good spit and polish. But they’re launched and available for G to index.
I can completely understand the rate you’re going at, Splork. Not much spare time working the daily grind.

Splork, I’m sure you’ve covered this, but can you shed a little more light on how you host all the BANS and StoreStacker sites? Do you use sub-domains? Do you register .COM domains and then point it to a subdomain? Also, which webhost would you recommend?

BANS - I’m using top level .com and .info
SS - I’m setting it up as a folder off the main domain.
No subdomains yet.
