So shoot me. I had a little mad money (I did return from Vegas ya know) and thought I’d check out the hype. In a span of like 4 hours I received no less than 7 offers from Phil Wiley to Alan Gardyne to others I haven’t heard from in months. This one email came from a dude whose product I bought 9 months ago. I haven’t receive anything from him since and knew the guy was a no bullshiotter so I had to take look at Project X.
Glad I freakin did.
First off, the ebook is slim. 50 pages. You are paying over $1.50 a page. Could you imagine paying that for a Stephen King novel or a Cisco training manual? Me either. And I hear the author plans on raising the price. But don’t worry, the content is tight. This is a no BS manual. I like that.
Second, the delivery is entertaining. It reads like you have a gun to the author’s head and he is just purging everything he knows for fear that you are going to paint the walls with his gray matter.
And I guarantee you’ll read it a couple of times. I read Phil Wiley’s email and he said he is going back through a second time with pen and paper in hand. Of course, at the time I thought he was full of shiot and figured he was just pumping the offer before he headed to the beach or something. Nah. He got it about right. You will read it twice if not more. You will take notes.
But, you ask, is the recipe for making money within the PDF (no, not the Panamanian Defense Force)? Yep, it is. You just have to take action (did I just write that?).
This ebook is not really for those who simply want to drop an affiliate link into your webpages. The techniques are a bit more sofistikated (sophisticated for you Yankees) than that.
Project X isn’t just some one method pony. The author gives you options. I can’t really say how many ’cause then you’d be down to like 49 pages if you decide to buy it and the rest of you would be mad because I gave away 1/50th of the book.
The author promises to keep updating the book. He also mentioned that he had a long term plan that will take him in a different direction so I have no idea if that means future updates will include how to bake delicious cupcakes or create affiliate money makers.
The price is set to increase. We all know it will be some version of 7, it’s only whether it will go from $77 to $97 to $197 or $297. It certainly won’t go to $7.
Recommended? Yea. For $77 $97 it’s a good deal. It’s probably fine at $297 but it will be alot harder to buy at that price, especially since your mortagage payment is sitting in the StomperNet pile.
For purposes of SEO: this is a review of Project X.
Update: Project X price is now $97. I know a couple of you purchased through my link and I appreciate the support. But it makes me nervous. I like the ebook. But I have no idea if you will. If you get buyer’s remorse you’ll think I’m an ass and am just pumping stuff to make some cash. Which I kinda am but I’m not really (an ass. I really am just trying to jack your wallet).
No, I hope you get some value from the recommendation. All the big dogs are saying the same thing and I usually try to steer clear of their hype and form my own opinion. In this case these guys actually have it right, I think. Besides the author gives you 8 weeks to make $2K or get your money back. He’s also bold enough to say to make six figures in a year or get your money back. It was worth a try to me.
BTW - if you’re wondering, it goes quite well with Affilorama and Bum Marketing Method. If you get the book you’ll see what I mean.
P.S. Chris Bradberry is keeping track of his earnings that he produces with Project X. It’s a bold move. I personally look forward to seeing how he does.

Okay.. I bought this. And, it went up to 99 bucks. I truly HATE that.
Why penalize your own customers?
Why make them feel like a schmuck just because they heard about it a day later?
They are doing this so that we make a decision NOW, instead of waiting. But, this time pressure for new customers is awful.
And, let me assure you… if this ISN’T what they say it is, I am returning it. (ClickBank is good with that.)
I am so SICK AND TIRED of the hype and empty promises.
But, I WILL give this the college try and do the techniques in the book. However, if this is another “trickery” book, I am outahere and asking for a refund.
P.S. - I just bought OrwellPro through the PLR Pro offer. (We’ll see….!)

Yup. Time decay marketing is a load of crap. Nowhere else in consumerism do you see it.
I hope you like the book though. The author says to give it 8 weeks and if you aren’t making $2K to get your money back. Hell he is even bold enough to state that if you aren’t making 6 figures in a year to get your money back.
Seemed like a no brainer to me. And I have ZERO problem asking for my money back if something doesn’t live up to my expectations.
OrwellPro…just not sure on that one yet. Still thinking on it.

Glad you all bought it. It’s the best ebook I’ve ever read. I am going to start implementing one of the strategies today. I’ll keep track of my progress on my blog.
Hint, the strategy that doesn’t take much capital

Still thinking??? But, it’ll make you RICH!
I know, because THEY SAID SO! (They wouldn’t SAY it if it wasn’t TRUE!!)
HURRY!!

Splork,
I also bought Project X based on some Warrior Forum gushing over it. I like it and I think the guy’s sales page was outstanding. I stumbled on Bum Marketing about a month ago and have been doing some ads on USFreeads but no sales yet. Still, a solid approach to me.
I once said to a consultant friend of mine that “great minds think alike” and he shot back “yes but fools seldom differ”. I thought it was a good comeback
So, either we’re great or we’re stoopid. Based on my past history of things I have done in my life I think we’re leaning more towards the greatness side of things so that’s encouraging.
Don’t feel bad about using affiliate links I feel the same way sometimes (I think they call it a conscious) but at least you’re upfront and you provide good reviews and insights so you deserve some $ instead of blindly sending out prepared-for-you mails to your list saying this is the best things since (fill in the blank).
Have you looked at GoTryThis? For $47 it’s pretty neat for cloaking and tracking affiliate links. The cloaking you can do yourself but the tracking features are kind of nice.
I slapped it on a generic domain I have and funnel all my links through it. Pretty slick.
My .02,
Mike

After reading through the ebook it might be worthwhile to revisit GoTryThis. Thanks for mentioning that. On my Bum Marketing Efforts I am using a cloak of sorts. I am using a meta redirect. Works fine and EzineArticles doesn’t seem to mind.

Thanks for sharing the “Affiliate Project X”!

Edmund, don’t try to post shit like that on here. If you want to enable people to steal the ebook, do it somewhere else.
