I spent a day reading it and really getting my head around all the concepts and really liked what I saw. Though I am not certain it is Google emphasizing authority sites as much as the competition we face are pounding out larger and more expansive sites. IMO as long as you can find keyword phrases that have little competition then Google will have no choice but to rank them. At least that is what I am assuming at this point and it seems to be working for stuff like Hubpages. I think everyone is in agreement that large authority sites is the sustainable model for the future. Though I'm not sure I totally agree with that either. There is always going to be room for niches and sub-niches. yamanote, I think you are on to something.
