I Like Blog Content Wizard

by Splork on September 2, 2008

Frank C is a bit of a wizard at creating software programs. I bought his first offering called Link Luv Post Builder a few months ago. It is a nice piece of work if you are trying to add a bit of different content to your blog posts. I use it quite a lot when scraping up some content to post on my blogs. He then released BMD Buddy which was donation-ware for all you folks using BMD and wanted to hide your links. Now he has released Blog Content Wizard which does a very good job of creating keyword intensive content for you blogs and sites.

Blog Content Wizard is very tight and lightning quick. It’s not a spinner so don’t worry about having to spend an hour adding all those annoying tags and phrases to your article. No, you simply add your primary keyword then add your secondary keywords then push generate. It creates an article and that’s pretty much it.

The quality of the article it generates is not great. But the purpose of this program is not to create article directory worthy content. It is to write a keyword rich blog post. I am of two minds in this business: 1) I want sites with excellent content that people will want to visit over and over and buy shit. 2) I need blogs, posts and comment links pointing to that “money site”.

This game is all about keywords and links. I don’t have a lot of time to re-write PLR over and over. I don’t have a lot of time to create a quick blog post on blogs that mean nothing to me other than a link back to my main sites. That is where Blog Content Wizard comes in handy. In 10 seconds I have an article that I can post to Tumblr, WordPress.com, Blogger blogs, etc for backlinks.

The content this program generates is nothing anybody will want to read. But the search engines don’t know that. Add a fantastic title. Maybe add a quick opening sentence and post it up. If you are of the opinion like me, that most people are simply skimming websites and clicking from link to link then who cares what the content reads like. I know that offends many website owners sensibilities but I think people are just surfing around randomly. On some sites I am simply providing the search engines with keywords and money links to click. You know what I mean?

Unless you have a couple of authoritative sites that are helping you to achieve your monetary goal you know that the more sites you build the more chances of making money you have. You can’t administer all those sites. I can’t. So programs like this make it quick and easy to generate, admittedly dubious content, for search engine keyword sniping and backlinks.

And understand, every single article you generate is unique. It may read like outsourced PLR but it serves it’s purpose marvelously. I can generate laser targeted keyword rich content for backlink blogs in seconds. I’ve been generating my own quick blog posts by mashing up sentences, paragraphs and articles from PLR. It still takes time. BCW literally takes seconds. That is no BS. I sat down yesterday with the program and wanted to flesh out 5 blogs quickly. Two WordPress blogs and three Blogger blogs. I had them posted up, literally, in minutes. On one of the blogs I used his Link Luv program to add a couple of links just to give it a little more relevance and authority. I was thinking as I did this, “damn Frank this is some cool shit.”

Frank C isn’t much about generating hype. The program works exactly as he says it does. Just check out the salespage. He shows you exactly how it works and gives you an example of the output and suggestions for its use. He’s not pimping it through the guru networks. There is no affiliate program which may hurt his sales in the long run.

Anyway, I like Blog Content Wizard. It’s easy to use, does exactly what you expect it to (what you read on the salespage is exactly what this program is and does) and in the short period of time I’ve had it saves me time.

Thanks for the review Splork!

I decided against the affiliate program because that would have meant raising the price to $97 or more. I wanted to keep it affordable but, you’re right, that probably means leaving money at the table.

Splork,

Can’t find an appropriate recent post on plr, so I’m using this thread. Hope that’s OK.

I know you’re a PLRPro fan.

I was a member for a couple of years, left because I was unhappy with the quality of the writing, and then rejoined a few months ago, only to find that not much has changed.

The guys say they’ve sharply increased what they pay writers for content, but it is still pretty dreadful.

Trite, superficial, and clearly written by people whose first language is not English.

Is there any other site you could recommend that offers decent quality content that at least offers a sound base for the rewriting process?

Best wishes,

Darrell

My pleasure Frank. Good luck with the program.

Darrell I do not believe there is. Honestly. You are kind of getting what you pay for. If you want quality you either have to outsource to someone you trust and pay considerably more than if you bought PLR or write it yourself.

You (not anyone in particular) have to decide what you are in this for. Do you want to be an authority and write important and meaningful content or do you want to simply do minimal content creation and concentrate on backlinks and keyword sniping? I kinda do both but when we are talking about niche topics, I don’t care. I don’t think for a minute that anyone reads much of my stuff…and I don’t want them to. I want them to click an ad. Yes I have a few “authority” blogs that I solely write and enjoy people visiting over and over. I have many niche blogs that I don’t care about other than driving traffic to it and getting clicks. I can only handle a few authority blogs. that I write from scratch. I can handle many more niche blogs with PLR content.

I’ve tried many PLR content sites and the content for each was basically crap. I stopped caring when I realized that I made as much, if not more, money simply doing rudimentary rewrites, content mashups and other quick tricks to post rather full comprehensive rewrites.

I dropped all except PLRPro because I got much more content to use for the money and honestly couldn’t handle more anyway. Now with their new offerings that I’ve mentioned I can tell you it is way worth the money. The blog portfolio and article submission that I wasn’t supposed to mention is incredible.

I agree with Splork and that was a lot of my motivation in creating Blog Content Wizard.

While I do write material for some niches I care about, such as certain antique/vintage items and guitars, I really don’t want to write in depth articles on say, Nevada Trial Lawyers. PLR articles weren’t that good for the most part. Paying for custom writing was cost prohibitive or poor quality or both. So, like Splork does, I do simple rewrites and mashups along with stuff generated by the software tools I’ve written.

Splork,

Nice review. I heartily agree with you about the wizard and where it really shines. I just bought it today myself after eagerly anticipating it since Frank announced it on his site a few days ago, and have already started using it on my , *ahem*, lower teer sites.
I might add that all that might be missing is a brief FAQ with the software itself for the novices like me, as well as some way to edit the text that would alter the html or even just a way to edit the text if you just want to post the raw text to your blog editor. (Am I right in thinking that you can’t currently even edit the raw text on the bottom of the results page?)

Like frank and splork do, the same here. If we really want to have some degree of success, it’s impossible to cover every blog/site that we make, we need to rely on tools like frank have, and do some mashups or small rewrites, like splork and frank do.

ah, i forgot to say, blog content wizard it’s a piece of art :) This software it’s a very big time saver!

Just to add my voice to the growing chorus here – I just bought blog content wizard too and I’m very pleased with the results.

Easiest way to populate so many agricultural blogs with keyword stuffed, erm I mean rich content that no one other than the search engines are going to read anyway. My hats off to Frank on a very cool piece of kit.

Nice review Splork!

Thanks Terry. And I’m sure Frank is pleased you like his product.

When im in a rush and dont really care much about the content ie: its just to pop a few links in i just use google translator from EN to FR and then back again makes it a little different for the SE but still readable for visitors.

Splork January 5, 2010 at 9:24 pm

Yup, that is what I do too. It’s a good tactic.
