Here’s the thing: I just don’t care to try any money making tools anymore. I honestly have no idea if Google Ambush works. I hope everyone that buys it makes millions of dollars an hour getting people to buy the shit that is offered at Crapbank. I’m just too grumpy to try it out or care. The cost is $67/month. Not exactly a large sum of money. And the joy is you can try it out for 60 days and get your money back. What’s not to like?
Well online marketers have discovered people don’t like to cancel stuff. It’s a very bizarre dance. People join these memberships and don’t apply the goods to help them make money. Or the membership is crapola. But they won’t quit because they are afraid they will miss something or they like to hang out in the forum and yap or simply be a part of the cult. I’ve joined memberships where I’ve asked to cancel after a couple of weeks and the owner blasts me for wanting out. I always ask for refunds if the offer is junk. I don’t think many people do. But I’m at the point now where I think most stuff is just junk. Google Ambush may in fact be fantastic. But it’s predecessors have jaded me to not even care or try to see if it can be different. Nothing personal against Google Ambush. It just happens to be the latest Crapbank offering that hit my spam box. I simply don’t want to bother even signing up despite the generous money back guarantee.
I’d like to know from someone who is using it during the beta program if they made $2K a day with it. I’d like to know if someone made $100/day with it. Or did the beta testers simply wait until the release date so they could send a blast to their email list for commission collections? It’s a juicy affiliate program. Recurring commissions. I like those too. But I haven’t read anywhere except from the salespage that money was being made hand over fist.
You could write on your salespage that you have proof that a wheel was round and I’d still question if the results were real. Testimonials in my mind do more harm than good. They never indicate, “dude I’ve been using your service for the last 30 days and have banked 7 thousand George Washingtons”. It’s always, “JD, you’re brilliant. This program is a godsend and will help me make money. I can’t wait to deploy it across my websites.” Really Skippy?
Yea I know I sound bitter. I simply don’t believe anymore. Time was I’d try out anything to see if it worked. But as time wore on I realized they didn’t work or simply didn’t work for me. I’m tired of spending my money on all this hubris floating around IM so I don’t and I guess I have nothing better to do than to write a post and say as much.

What I’ve seen of these PPC training offers are rehashes of rehashes that cover the basics along with an update or two to reflect changes in how Google judges quality score and the like.
However, given the current economic times, it’s probably good to be on the selling end of these offers.

Things are really steamrolling downhill in the economy. At least from what you can pick up from the media. I tell ya I’m worried. Not just for my job but just how bad things can get over the next 1,3, 5 years. Bailouts galore. Who pays for it? My kids and their kids. We have a Congress and administration that simply thinks throwing money at failure is the answer. We have an incoming administration that I fear will be in over his head. Two years in the U.S. Senate might not be enough experience to lead us out of this mess, but you know, Americans really didn’t care about that when they decided to vote for the media, Internet and celebrity darling. Hope I’m wrong, and he seems to be listening to the right people, but the potential for epic failure is upon us.
I think it’s a good time to roll out any kind of make money fast offer you can come up with. My guess is they will be hot sellers over the next couple of years.

I think you get to a certain point with internet marketing when you just no longer have a need for most of this “how to make money online” information or you’re just flat out disgusted with all the crap and scams that you find out there that you end up as you said… jaded.
Most of these gurus are clowns and they have no idea how to really make money online. The only thing they know how to do is sell how to make money online information. They’re great marketers, I’ll give them that, but they’re selling snake oil. Information that is so vague that you end up needing more and more and this is what they call a funnel. That’s when you subscribe to the monthly or the coaching program.
Damn it Splork fall in line! You’re not supposed to be questioning this stuff they’re guberus after all. jk
Be careful with those monthly membership deals… I’m having a big problem with a Mike Filsaime monthly newsletter right now. I canceled after the first month and he’s still billing me 4-5 months later. And good luck finding a phone number. These cowards hide behind computer screens and don’t have the confidence in their businesses to publish their phone numbers on your cc billing statements or anywhere for that matter. No joke like 30 lines on my cc statement all from diff vendors and Mike Filsaime is the only one without a phone number. What does that tell you? What does that tell you? Buyer beware guys.
Regarding the economy… yea it’s in the shitter and who knows what the future holds. I live in Cali and they’re talking about increasing the sales tax to over 10%, reducing and eliminating all kinds of services and increasing income tax by 5% here. We may be the first state to need a bailout!

I’m so glad we have people like you who will bring these offers and expose them for what they are, good or bad.
I was interested in this product but have no intention of spending $67 a month until I hear or read a real testimonial.

Dan, there are a lot of fantastic salesmen out there. It took me a while to think for myself and realize that all is not what it appears. I’m not certain if GA is great or not. I just prefer to do like Ketan and wait for positive word of mouth from someone I can trust.

Thanks for reading Ketan. Just trying to shine a little beam of light into the abyss.

Hi Splork,
Quote -
‘Yea I know I sound bitter. I simply don’t believe anymore.’
That’s not bitterness, it’s just an education stage. Celebrate your graduation. Less time spent on crap, more time spent putting monetised pages out there.
2nd quote (from comments) -
‘Things are really steamrolling downhill in the economy. At least from what you can pick up from the media. I tell ya I’m worried. Not just for my job but just how bad things can get over the next 1,3, 5 years.’
Hmmm. Apply the same process you used to solve the problem in quote 1 to quote 2.
Ignore the crap. Turn off the TV.
The very same spin and BS you have identified on the internet is being used on the TV news and always has been.
What goes up, must come down. And it must go up again. Take no notice and don’t ruin your life by looking for things to be worried about - that’s what they want you to do.
Is the sun still rising every morning? Well there’s absolutely nothing to worry about then.
Peace

Holy shnikees! You hit the hammer on the nail with this post.
“Jaded” is definetely the right word. Everybody wants traffic. Everybody wants success.
The problem is, the whole system is geared towards “keywords” and “Google Search”….
If they could just get the system automated with PEOPLE.
By the way, I found your website via google. I typed in “Google Ambush sucks”.
Thanks for your blog. Very enjoyable.

Hi from oz. Thanks to all you straight shooters.
I could not find a sigle site other than this that was not pimping google ambush and hiding behind “honest reviews” I also have not found anyone who makes a clear statement about income from this stuff. I have been on the net since it’s inception and have had a gut full of these rich thieves selling how to get rich. It is all hype and no substance. As if google would let a couple of smart arses take them to the cleaners. Not bloody likely!
