Goodbye YPN

by Splork on March 31, 2010

Goodbye Yahoo Publisher Network Beta. Hardly got to know you. You seemed like a swell idea. I liked using you for those websites that were the utmost in shit. Our Google overlord sometimes overreacts in its imperialist occupation and destroys Adsense accounts like the horror of Rosie O’Donnell circling a plate of defenseless donuts. Therefore, only the best of our spam gets covered with Google’s holy blessings. But YPN, you loved us one and all. Some of the lucky few were able to utilize your awful advertisement network and pull a few pennies out of dumbasses who are click happy visiting our obtuse websites in the most boring of mediums we call the interwebs. We shall overcome. In your dying breath you said we should forget you and find happiness with another. And you uttered the name: Chikita. Could you have known that we already longed for her? You must have known that we had already replaced your shitty ads with her shitty ads on our shitty sites. Perhaps your legacy will live on with Microsoft adCenter? Maybe your death is a harbinger for those that believe that the PPC bounty will provide goodness forever. Your example of mediocrity shall live on in the landfill we call the Web.

“Rosie O’Donnell circling a plate of defenseless donuts.”

Oh the humanity. That pile of dough, sugar, icing, or jelly filled goodness never had a chance – lol..

In addition to her passion for baked goods, did you also know that Ms. O’Donnell is a renowned metallurgist and structural engineer?

Please to enjoy these pearls of wisdom..

“I do believe that it’s the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. She continued:

“To say that we don’t know that it imploded, that it was an implosion and a demolition, is beyond ignorant.”

Ah yes, Rosie, ignorant, indeed..
