OMG! It’s live! It’s effing live! Dear GOD it’s live! Hurry. Oh man. {pant} Hurry. It’s live and there are only a few slots left. {pant} Like two. Maybe three. But you gotta hurry. It’s really live. It may already have sold out! {pant} You may as well not be in Internet marketing if you don’t buy NOW!
Look, if you don’t buy it now, because of the hype, it will sell out. If it sells out I won’t be able to hop aboard the lucrative monthly residuals. I make my money from selling Internet marketing products and offers like this are simply easy money due to the massive email list I have built. 10,000 people on this list. If 1% takes me up on this offer I will be making a killing. Buy now.
Hype vs reality. You decide.

Unbelievable……..NOT. I’ve just unsubscribed myself from about 20 lists. I got 5 emails today about it from one prat.
LOL! I’ve spent the last 2-3 days deleting the MC2 emails clogging my box…each one more desperate than the last.
I’m on FKs list and his last e-mail noted that he had “only” 2500 copies made. Hmmm, at $1997 a pop, that’s a hell of a payday.
You forgot to mention that it’s only at a bargain basement price of $1,997 !!! Buy today before the price goes UP !!!
Even if you miss it now, he’s just going to release it next 6 months. Psssh.
This is great! A great filter to unsubscribe from crappy lists! Bye bye 90% of you assholes!
I think the overkill marketing for this overpriced program shows that these guys are starting to get worried. It is getting harder to sell this drivel and they are afraid they might actually have to offer a product that really helps people be successful online.
I also got the promotion from guru Tom, Dick, and Harry. And I head to where I know I can get an honest review from – LostBall.
Glad we’re on the same wavelength, Splork. Your verdict is as good as mine
Kern is like a freaking cult. The Republicans should co-opt him in 2012 if they want to unseat Obama.
I’ve had dozens of emails from the usual suspects about Irwin F. Kern IV’s “Mass Control” in the last few days. Including the shonks at Commission Blueprint…who gush “Frank is probably the top marketing
brain on the planet and to have the
chance to copy his strategies is
basically a no-brainer no matter what
the cost.”
Uh right…here’s my two grand for the “Smoke & Mirrors” shit.
“If the price of this course was
$50,000, we’d *still* buy it”.
Yeah me too. Here’s my 50 large. Sit on it.
“there’s a
very generous money-back guarantee.”
Well that’s handy – seeing as though the Federal Trade Commission judgement on Frank Kern’s business insists on it -
“IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that, for a period of seven (7) years from the date of entry of this Order, in connecton with any business that any Defendant directly or indirectly manages controls or has a majority ownership interest in…maintain Copies of complaint and refund requests (whether received directly, indirectly through any third party) and any responses to those complaints or requests; and Copies of all sales scripts, training materials, advertisements, or other marketing materials.”
Seems the FTC will be looking over his shoulder to at least October 1, 2010.
What did the FTC find in 2003? “To achieve the promised $115,000 in earnings, consumers each would have to sell the product to 2400 additional consumers, who would each need to sell to 2400 additional consumers to achieve the same earnings, according to the FTC. By the third generation of the scheme, participants would need to make more than 13.8 billion sales, more than twice the earth’s population, for each of them to achieve the advertised earnings.” More here at Mass Control or Mass Con?
I agree with everyone else. I am so sick of being pushed all this crap! I’m deleting tons. Even peoples lists that I have been on for years.
If it happens to be a winner, oh well! I’ve missed the boat before. I’ll get over it.
LOL Great post.
Now we know why they keep saying the money is in the list, but not for long more as the are putting a lot of people off with all this hype.
Frank’s pitch was so amazing, I signed up for his system EACH TIME somebody asked me to!
What else am I going to do with the wads of money Internet Marketing is making me?
Frank Kern’s Mass Control Course – your post – is only on page 3 in Google here.
Damn!
I want this post to be on page one for the Review of Frank Kern’s Mass Control Course. It’s such a great review.
Maybe that’ll help a bit
Thanks Zania. That would be pretty funny.
(Kirk voice) Must….resist….mass….control….
Money isn’t in the list, it’s in finding enough idiot sheep to flog your product to their lists.
They never stop do they? And always the same suspects – John Reese, Jason Potash, Mike Filsaime, Rich Schefren. Time for another cull (most of them just go into a junk folder for historical purposes these days).
Buy books, guys. There’s some great ones out there. Frank Bettger’s How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling will kick Kern’s California ass for $11.20 every time.
You will save $1986 and do a lot more to improve your attitude and your business.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the FTC prohit Frank Kern from contacting/selling stuff to his email list he had at the time? Every time they talk about how he rose from the ashes from scratch after that episode they dont mention that he was still using his huge list to sell his stuff. I still got emails from him after that, so don’t tell me he built a list from scratch.
It would be interesting to see an HONEST review of his whatever-he’s-selling now. What brand new information does he have that the rest of the world doesn’t know about? I’m always curious to know what you get for $2,000.
Oh my god, thanks so much for the laugh. I really needed it. I have unsubed from numerous lists due to this latest onslaught of mass control madness.
I thank (insert deity of your choice) unsubscribed from all these floggers months ago and have been getting lots of comments from friends about how many MC2 emails they are getting. My advice to them… unsubscribe from every marketer on the planet.. follow a few trusted (ie… Griz, Court, Vic, Splork, ….) sites and quit listening to all the “next big things”. You’ll get a lot more accomplished and actually make money for a change.
$1997!!!? You’ve got to be shitting me!
Seems as soon as I unsubscribe from one list they just transfer the subscribers over to some new list so I keep getting shit from all these different IM pimps. But it’s not without its entertainment value. I mean if you can separate yourself from being a buyer, these offers, and the way they are presented, are some of the funniest stuff you’ll read.
LOL, you guys crack me up.
But maybe that’s because I’ve made $5K using his ONE mc technique.
Oh well. I guess some will act on information and others, well …just won’t.
Laughing all the way to the bank. Good for you. Maybe you found the one over-hyped offer that actually delivers. Fantastic. Acting on hype, I mean, information? I, well….just won’t.
I think in many ways the hype ruins the legitimacy of the course
I think if you have your own product and list there is just no way you’ll not make money using his stuff.
His course is the only only I bought last year (when it came out first) and personally, I’m really glad I did.
I get sick of too many emails about it too.
Yes it was overkill.
Yes some marketers don’t give enough value in their emails and all they do is sell sell sell, and this makes me sick.
But that isn’t Frank’s fault.
He makes a lot of videos and gives great value in his newsletters whether you buy or not.
Some marketers actually only promoted it softly and gave great content such as interviews with frank in the prelaunch. Valuable information even if their subscribers don’t buy.
Unfortunately they all got tainted with the same brush when other marketers over promoted it like they were selling crack.
For anyone who is interested, the product actually is very very good and well worth the money. Especially if you are already making some money online and want to ramp it up to the next level.
Lots of the gurus promoting it want to promote it because they themselves have learnt so much from it.
Personally I have learnt a lot from Mass Control 1, probably enough to pocket an extra 150k more than I would have if I hadn’t gained access to it. (and Frank never asked for my testimonial yet because he has so many he doesn’t need it)
And no I didn’t promote Mass Control to my list, not because it isn’t a great product, but because I didn’t get any prior notice about it and I’ve got too much on my plate at the moment to check out the full course at a moments notice and decide whether or not I should send it to my list.
Anyway, personally I have nothing to gain by making this comment (probably a lot to lose from everyone who will probably angrily reply to my comment now).
I’m just saying this to offer my perspective.
Finally for anyone reading my rant, you can google ‘affilorama’ if you want to check my site out, I have over 85 hours of free lessons and interviews with internet gurus etc if you want to take a look.
Free is good.
regards,
Mark Ling
Hey Mark. Good perspective. I think most of us were making light of the hype surrounding the product. I’ve never bought any of his products so I couldn’t say whether they were money makers or not. The thing is I’m not certain that any of the gurus pimping the product knows either. They just want a piece of the action.
Affilorama is for real. I recommend it. Before you buy anything you should go through the lessons and make sure that what you are interested in is maybe already covered with the free lessons.
There was so much hype because of the price of the product. Big price = big commission.
Kern’s stuff is actually very good. As Mark said, not Kern’s fault people hyped it to the moon.
All’s I can say is I bought Mass Control 1.0 and it rocks! How many of you here that are “bashing” Frank even own the course.
I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion but unless you get off the couch and actually use the information you have stored between your ears regardless if you bought Mass Control or not, then you are wasting time.
Mike Hill
PS. If you got Mass Control 1.0 or 2.0 then you’ll quickly see it’s worth much more than what you paid for it. Personally I made back every penny the course cost me within 3 days and that was just from following the bonus.
Awesome.
I prefer to sit on the couch and let my brain get mushy and write posts on hype and lemmings and save some money while bored people go around to my retarded niche sites on candle wax and leaf blowers and click a link that Google helps provide that I receive a 8 cents for.
What sickens me is once you have purchased a product from a Guru all they care about is plugging the next best program on the market. Nothing against Frank Kern – he is brilliant.
I am just sick to death of getting swamped with every launch so I have unsubscribed to every Guru on my list who is not directly beneficial to my income level. How many of these guys really give a damn about us? I have sent e-mails to almost every person I have purchased goods from , and it’s a lot, very rarely do they bother to respond. So screw them now
I think one thing needs to be said here that I rarely see mentioned.
Confidence Men, or con men as they are called now, are only able to perpetrate their cons because of your greed, risk-taking and self-deceptive behavior.
While virtually anyone can fall prey to fraudulent crimes, internet victims seem to possess a level of greed which exceeds their caution as well as a willingness to believe what they want to believe. Internet fraud victims are generally greedy, risk-taking, self-deceptive individuals looking to make a quick dollar.
In reality, the character of the con man and the con victim are very similar. To condemn them is to condemn yourselves.
You guys sound like a bunch of crybabys. I just got on the Frank Kern train. I’m new to internet marketing and I am learning a ton of valuble information. When I feel like I am being sold over sold I’ll opt out. I won’t piss and moan because someone is making a killing being very good at selling. You guys sound like a bunch of helpless victoms. There’s a little button called the opt out button….hit it and get on with your lives. Jealousy’s a bitch.
