Take a moment and think about those men and women at Lexington, Normandy, Peleliu, Chosin Reservoir, Hamburger Hill, Iraq and all the other places they gave their lives so we could sit peacefully with our fucking iPad and tap some stupid ass app for our entertainment.

To my uncle. Who stormed Normandy and almost drowned trying to make it to shore with heavy equipment on his back. By the grace of God and divine intervention he was dragged to shore by an unknown “devil dog”…
