By now all you folks who decided to grab Shearing’s free link builder program have now had your spam bucket filled with his upsell, the 10 Day Cash Secret plugin for Wordpress. Dunno what to tell you. I’ve been using Teli’s script Wordpress Datafeed Import script for the the last year or so. He seems a bit late to the affiliate party.
Frankly his plugin would be at least third on my list of datafeed scripts to buy anyway. WPDFI is fine but I would also look real real hard at Affiliate Data Feed Generator. I have Associate Feed Generator and splash Amazon crap on my Blogger blogs using it. I’d like to do the same thing with other datafeeds from Shareasale, among others, onto Blogger blogs. Granted you need a delivery system like RSS2B to post those feeds to your blog. Anyway, I’m looking at further diversifying all those Blogger blogs I’m building from Adsense and banners.
That’s it. My head is ready to split from whatever shit I’ve got that’s making the rounds.

I call this technique: the piggy-back method.
1. Find a good product that has an affiliate program.
2. Secure the .net domain of the same name such as affiliatefeedgenerator.net (The original domain name is affiliatefeedgenerator.com)
3. Turn the website into a CMS version of the original 1 mile-long sales page.
4. Have a free section in the site to capture leads.
(Give away free stuff)
5. Cloak the the site with your affiliate id. The buy button goes direct to the original website order screen. (This is important coz the visitor is in a buying mood. No point pointing it the original website sales page)
6. Wait for sales.
The original website: affiliatefeedgenerator.com
My piggy-back website: affiliatefeedgenerator.net
The site is now getting me about 3-4 affiliate sales a month.
Rinse and repeat.

Hi,
I wonder if you had much success with this kind of datafeed strategy? Referring to your comment below I think easyblog creator pro is able to do this. The owner has even some videos available explaining how he is using affiliate and associatefeedgenerator to populate his blogs

I haven’t tried it yet as I haven’t gotten around to buying AFG. The datafeed thing works though with WP.
