I tend to agree GMan. Dude has too much shit he’s building and promoting. His shit is over-rated in my opinion anyway. I probably need to get rid of this post.

There is no contact system that actually works at Blinkweb, which leads me to believe that Brad, for all his good intension’s is full of it.

If you consider a main site is Tier 1, I’ve been using Weebly as a Tier 3. I link those micro blogs like Tumlr and Weebly to Tier 2 sites like Squidoo lens or Hubpages. Those Tier 2 sites typically have more juice and get more traffic, socially and organic, so the links perform better as they are funneled to the main sites.

So to answer your question I link them individually to Tier 2 sites. Very little interlinking.

Two years later, I wonder how things have changed? I am about to start a weebly site for links, I know they are do-follow, but I wonder how G sees them for link value?

Also, lets say I have my main site on Green Beans, and I start 5 related sites on weebly et al that all point to the main site, would you also interlink the related sites to each other?

Would you build 5 more sites for each of them to get them some links? What level can you stop? (I can see how it would depend on the competition)

I’m just wondering if my weebly site never gets any links if it will ever have any value to pass on to the main site? Will G even list it if I submit it?

Recognised your name from Grizzly’s site, loved that animation you did for his last post.

BTW, your wine site still has Adsense on the subpages.

I don’t put Adsense on any sites other than select Blogger blogs and my own hosted sites anymore. All the other sites I build for Article Marketing Automation and my own little networks are solely for backlinks. Though I will put affiliate banners and links on them where practical and possible. This may change in the future if some of these free hosted blog sites get enough traffic to warrant adding Adsense. So far that hasn’t really been the case.

I had forgotten about those Weebly and Blinkweb accounts/sites with the Adsense on them. I’m glad you wrote in so I could remove the Adsense.

This has got to be some of the more useful and honest information I have seen on the subject of internet marketing. I have been so confused for like 8 months now trying to actually make only $5 a month on my battery of sites! I’m at $1 a month and not one affiliate sale yet! I don’t think this is as easy as it is made out to be. You need like 8-10 hrs a day to work on this stuff. Maybe I just have too many sites.

I get so confused as to what I should have, what blogs, what lenses, how many of each, how to connect them with links and when and when not to duplicate content on each! Surely some content is duplicated?

Is the goal just to have a bunch of one page type sites or blogs, lenses, etc. that all basically serve little purpose but to dish up a little information, and then link back to a main and larger site?

What if you just build like 50 Blinkweb one page sites, each one on a related but different keyword, make each a subdomain of the main site and link them back to your main site. Would this be banned at all, or would this work to build your page ranking and traffic?

I don’t think subdomains can hurt. All I know is I make money with subdomains. I have some that are hanging off a general domain. Each subdomain has nothing to do with the next. And then I have some that are related liked the home improvement crap.

Honestly all this amounts to two things for me: Finding a product that people will buy and finding a keyword that I can snipe that will drive people to the site to buy it. It doesn’t matter if my site is Blogger, Wordpress or XSP, domain or subdomain. I target a product/subject and I get links with a few very specific keywords. It works.
