Want to know what I’m doing right now? Nothing. Want to know how many articles have been added to 14 of my blogs in the last 15 minutes? 4. Did I outsource those articles? No. So how did they get added to my blogs without me doing anything? Simple. I am a member of PLRPro and am using Article Marketing Automation.
So what’s going on here? I added 14 of my self hosted WordPress and Blogspot hosted Blogger blogs to the portfolio of sites. When someone wants to syndicate their article across the network my blogs become the beneficiary. They get to add an article with their links included and I get to have fresh content added to my blog.
PLR Pro has things set up where you can add self hosted WordPress, WordPress.com, Tumblr and Blogger blogs to the network. When you add your blog to the portfolio you choose what category your blog will receive articles from. So I added a golf blog and clicked on Sports: Golf category which will add only golf related articles to my blog. If you have a massive site that covers say computer hardware, software, security and mobility then you can choose each one of those as options as well. If you are using WordPress and have categories you would map those options to specific categories.
The article writing option is pretty cool as you can “spin” your articles so the same one won’t get blasted onto multiple blogs. You’re really not spinning as much as simply adding multiple options for multiple phrases. It takes time to create the article but probably not any more time than if you were writing three of four different variations of the same article for distribution.
Whoops, there goes another article onto one of my blogs. Wonder if Google is interested? I think it might be.
You keep control of the blogs. You decorate it with Adsense and get traffic to the blog then you stand to make some tidy dough. Think about your blogs that you only feel like updating once a week or month. Maybe it’s dying in the search engines. I have plenty of them like this. Now they are getting articles.
This is such a win-win I can’t stand it. Article marketing to the directories is kind of crap with few exceptions. A post to a blog is not. I write an article and it gets distributed across as many blogs as I specify.
I will not be adding my personal blogs to the portfolio. The ones I really care about. I will only be adding niche blogs. If something happens and this thing get smoked by Google somehow I won’t have to worry about the blogs that I really care about.
There is one caveat to the whole thing. People have to write and submit articles. We can’t all sit idly by waiting on articles to drip into our blogs. But for gosh sakes you are only writing a post. They require 300 words. How hard can that be? Not damn very.
I wonder if they will cap the portfolio. Seems like they would have far more sites than people interested in writing posts. It’s just the way of the lazy marketer. I’d rather build hundreds of blogs and have people drip content in while I simply submit the RSS feeds and get a few backlinks. Somehow I don’t think it will work out that way. If I thought of it then surely the black hatters have thought of it too. Content still matters.
Alright time to add some more blogs to the portfolio. I will finally be able to get some use out of those Tumblr blogs I created a while back.

Interesting this holds no interest. I have created over 30 blogs and added them to the portfolio of sites the last couple of days. Three quarters of the blogs have at least one article that was added. I think other people building me a blog is pretty cool. I can use the blog to send traffic to money pages or simply to collect affiliate or Adsense clicks.
I’ve also used the system for article distribution. It’s the slickest system I’ve used. The “spin” is simple. You post your article with your links added. You then have the opportunity to rewrite the title and each sentence in the post…up to ten times. So for instance, on each sentence there are ten lines so you can rewrite that simple sentence. It’s easy to rewrite when you are presented just a single line. If you rewrite each sentence once or twice, imagine how many iterations are possible for each article. Every time it gets posted to a blog it’s a vastly different article from the original. Oh and you can even post You Tube videos. Imagine people posting an on topic post with a video onto your blog…and you did nothing but set up the thing. I remain amazed and very pleased.
Yeah I’m interested….been over here a few times before, but have been looking for something like this as Article Marketer is so frustrating and I really dont think i’m getting any link love from those articles.
So these things are pulling traffic? That would be awesome, considering article sites send me ZERO traffic. Links are actually what I need the most, so and having a system to post all over the place would be great…think i’ll give it a try
What I like is that you are making a post on a blog, not to an article directory. My opinion is that dynamic blogs are far more interesting to Google than a collection of articles.
I built blogs for the “portfolio” for both traffic and back links. Meaning, depending on the topic and how well I do promoting it, I’ll get traffic. Wordpress.com is the best for trafic and PR in my opinion. Other blogs from Blogger or Tumblr will take more time to be noticed by Google. They may fare better in MSN and Yahoo. Wordpress.com requires you to send the traffic away to a money site to make anything. Depending on how well you tag your posts and what topic you choose, you can send a lot of traffic away. I now have 5 WP.com blogs that are all PR3-4 and average between 250-3200 site visitors. I link to other blogs for PR juice and for Adsense clicks.
This system increases my ability to have blogs taht get populated by other writers, and hopefully they all use the “spin” option so each post is different across all the blogs they post to. Win-win. And I can do what I want with the traffic. Use it for backlinks or use it to make money or both.
250-3200? Is that per day? Thats some pretty crazy traffic for some WP blogs. Nice work, guess I will have to get a-writin’ on mine, they have been so ignored lately….
I watched the tutorials, and obviously the better/more interesting the article, you get more people picking it up. When you write articles and spin them, what kind of distribution are you getting across other blogs?
ssshhhh Splork this wasn’t meant to be open to public yet
I’m not kidding either lol
Not even standard affiliates have had a shot yet.
In about 1 week we will have a competition public that affiliates can promote, & it will be open to free members to upgrade so they can send articles to the network.
The network is over 1500 sites now…….
Total article’s distributed, cant give specifics, but over 9000 to different blogs.
It is going to wake the industry up, this really is article marketing 3.0 if I may be so cliche.
thanks for the post Splork, watch this space in the next week or so
Cheers
Marc
Holy shit Marc. My effing bad. I had no idea. Hope my big mouth didn’t screw up anything. Then again, I’ve only got like 11 readers so it might not be that bad.
…eff, I feel bad about this.
lol….I was wondering why I didn’t see any other info about this…fortunately I’m one of your loyal readers!
Hey aaronk. Um, what I meant was that AMA looks pretty cool. It really looks like you can do a lot with articles with their spin thing. It seems like it might be pretty nice once they open it up.
But yea, Wordpress.com blogs. The ones I’ve had for about two-three months now are getting some really good page views. These will not be added to any blog network BTW.
Oh…Well…..ummmmm….guess I’ll just have to be patient and wait. Sounds really cool though…I’ll keep my eyes open for it!
