You are right about how blogging about blogging is cathartic. I do the same on my blog. It helps me focus my ideas and thoughts, and puts them in a place where I can check in case I forget them in the future!

Our path is a somewhat lonely path with lots of grinding... and not the good kind.

I enjoy your blog though! Keep up the good work!

Right on man! I agree with the process, the mindset struggle and the touble with uncertainty. Not knowing whether what your doing is the best way to go about things is bitch. I wrote an artcle on the same idea, I make it sound more "positive", cause thats how I roll. I just don't blog when I feel like Im lost. Another method, doesn't matter I guess, I appreciate your candor as do others I'm sure. I found your site via Griz'a site. If you would like to blogroll exchange let me know. I have a few blogs that would accept your best targets if your into that.
Great blog!

heh interesting post.

I liken it to what games call "the grind" aka in World Of Warcraft you need to "grind" your experience until you get to level 70 (80 now)

Then you have this sick ass character that can whoop ass.

Some enjoy the grind, others hate it.... but eitherway there is always grind.

Still today we diversify.... though perhaps a little too much early on.

I'm like an add kid on crack when it comes to focus. So it fits my personality well to be trying new things.

Though those few authority sites really cant go wrong if you do it right.... by pure definition you cant go wrong.....

Pick a macro industry.....

dating
vitamins
health
weight loss
credit repair
bankruptcy
diplomas online
blah blah blah

and build a site out until you have first page rankings and hundreds of content pages.

sure it takes years and even still can be a risky investment if you are really unlucky (googl de-index)

Hit it off though and your looking at 200 to 300k uniques a month and some nice coin
